Payment Process

Commission Payments will always be 
upfront and through the Stripe 
Payment Method on VGen.

All price fluctuations on a 
commission will be completely visible 
within the form. There are no 
instances where I will request more 
money after an up-front payment. 

If there is a situation where you 
want large additions to the 
commission that require fees, we will 
discuss further invoicing.

Revision Process

 I usually create upwards to 3 concept 
 sketches of how I want the commission
 to look. Once you choose a concept to
 move forward with, You will be given
 free revisions for each progress rung.

 The condition is that each section of
 progress must be fully approved by the 
 commissioner before moving to the next
 section of the commission.

 Here's an example.
 [Sketch > Revised > Approved > Cont.]

 The way that I work with commission is
 under the expectation that I will not
 completely finish the commission in a 
 single drawing session. On the terms
 that a commission piece is done fully
 and correctly the first time, it sadly
 means that I will not continue a piece
 until the WIP is fully approved to
 continue with.

 I will revise the image as many times
 as reasonably needed to meet your
 expectations for the piece. There is
 no extra fees behind my revisions.

Deadlines and Delivery

Deadlines

I can do small scale deadlines, but I don't 
recommend requesting hard deadlines.
Discussions will be made to figure out if
your deadline request will require a fee.

When you pay an extra fee for confirmed
deadlines on the commission piece, you 
will be prioritized above all other 
commissions that are not deadlined 
within my queue.

Deadline charges will be as low as $5, but 
can be upwards to 25% of the full cost of
the commission.

Deliveries

Delivery will always include a 72DPI .PNG 
of your finished commission;
PERSONAL USE: Unwatermarked for use 
as a profile picture or banner.
PUBLIC USE: Watermarked for use on an
online, public space, where the image
could be downloaded and used by others.

Ontop of this, on request I will provide a 
watermarked .MP4 of the exported Clip 
Studio Paint Timelapse. While I do not 
mind if you share it, please note
this file is meant for only you.

The final commission, like my revision
process, can be rejected, and you can 
request revisions until the final piece is
to your liking.

Permitted Uses

 Commission use is relatively clean-cut. 
 You can; 
✔ Posting the uncropped watermarked
commission with direct linked credit.
✔ Posting cropped closeups of the 
watermarked commission with direct
linked credit.
✔ Using PNGs my work in unmonetized
video content, fancams, memes, etc.
with expressed credit.
✔ Small filtering or stickers added 
overtop the drawing, but not direct 
alterations of my artwork is allowed
with credit.

 What counts as Credit?
1.) Providing a link to my website(s).
2.) Providing a link to my VGen.
3.) Tagging me in the post 
     (Tumblr specific)
4.) Crediting my username 
     (ex. Credit to: ButtonsTheBeans!)

 What doesn't count as fair commission use?
✖ Feeding my artwork into any AI
database or algorithm. I will not 
consent to training an AI.
✖ Minting the artwork for any Crypto-
adjacent marketing. No NFTs, basically.
✖ Refusing to credit me or cropping my 
watermark out of the post you might
make for the commission.
✖ Large scale edits to my artwork; 
Redrawing, recoloring, or making edits 
that would be intentionally malicious 
or hurtful will directly break the 
TOS agreement.

 Please note that you are always welcome to 
 ask questions. These rules are in place to 
 deter intentional malicious actions or 
 behavior.

Intellectual Property Rights

 As the buyer, you have rights to post and 
 share the artwork I provide to you with 
 expressed credit. Unless there is a 
 discussion about it there will be no rights 
 to selling my artwork in physical or digital 
 formats. Please understand that the art is 
 still created by me, and as an artist I wish 
 for clear and concise communication with 
 you, as a commissioner.

Refund Policy

I am open to providing refunds for work 
that I have not completed. If I am not able 
to complete your commission before the 
turnover time refunds can be discussed. 
My turnover time is my 
"guaranteed delivery by--" time. 
Agreeing to these terms means that you 
will communicate and discuss with me 
first if a refund is needed.

Please note that I will be communicating 
with you as a client as much as possible, 
and if you're unresponsive for 3 days, I 
will extend the deadline date by one 
week to regain communication, giving you
5 days to approve or deny the extension. 
If I am unable to complete your 
commission by the guaranteed delivery 
deadline due to failure to communicate, 
approve/deny WIPs/Finals, or request 
revisions, you will not be able to request 
this refund.

Communications

 As the artist I request thorough 
 communication with you, but not personal 
 communication. I will inform you of outside 
 changes that've subjected changes to the 
 commission deadlines in public 
 announcements or messages to you through 
 VGen. I please request that personal topics 
 are kept to a minimum for the comfort of 
 both parties.
 
 As the seller I am happy to answer as many 
 questions as you need to ask before 
 ensuring what you want to buy, or if you 
 want to buy a commission at all. I will 
 always be available to contact on VGen, but 
 I will not be readily accessible to 
 conversation on Discord, Libera, or Tumblr.

 I wake and sleep on a consistent time, and 
 will be awake between 7AM-10PM, I will 
 only be working ~5 hours a day, but I am 
 open to communication as long as I'm able 
 to receive your message.
 Of course, emergencies and randomness is 
 bound to happen, and sometimes I will not 
 always be able to immediately respond. Rest 
 assured, I will always get to you as soon as 
 I am available to.
